Motoring website Jalopnik is reporting that a BMW X6 SUV was recently stolen in Italy with the help of an old panel van.
The driver of the panel van, who was heading into Romania, had the majority of the parts of a BMW X6 stacked in the back of the van. When the police stopped the man in HUngary and searched his vehicle, it was discovered that the X6 in the back of the panel van was actually an X6 that had been reported stolen in Italy.
“While I have no idea when this BMW X6 was nicked in Italy, we have to give some credit to the Romanian gentleman trusted with its transportation,” writes Jalopnik’s Máté Petrány in the article. “Not only did he make an X6 look better, but also managed to fit all of it’s bloated mass into a twenty-year old Mercedes van.”
