GM is working on a new platform that will underpin various new models, the most important of which is the new Chevrolet Adra.
The Adra, revealed for the first time at the India International Motor Show, will be a low-cost compact SUV, or in other words, a direct competitor to the Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.
The Adra will be aimed squarely at emerging markets like India, Russia, Brazil, Thailand and Mexico, but you can bet that SA is on that list somewhere. With sales of small SUVs going through the roof, we’ll definitely be getting a taste of this interesting looking compact crossover.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2018 for the international debut.
