Alfa Romeo’s first SUV, the Stelvio has launched in South Africa, with a starting price of a cool R810 0000 for the Super Stelvio, while the limited First Edition will set you back by R946 000.
The Italian brand’s flagship, high-performance Stelvio Quadrifoglio is set to be launched here in South Africa in the third quarter of 2018.
The Stelvio derivatives currently available are powered by a 2.0-litre Turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 206W and 400Nm of torque. The entirely aluminium four-cylinder unit is mated with eight-speed automatic transmission, driving a carbon drive shaft and Q4 all-wheel drive.
Customers can choose from 11 body colours (pastel, metallic and tri-coated), leather seats are available in three colours and there are three alloy wheel sizes to choose from ( 18-, 19- and 20-inch).
The Super comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and there is an optional Luxury Pack, which includes seats with heating and electrical adjustment, as well as wood and aluminium inserts.
The First Edition features all the same standard equipment of the Super, as well as, full-grain leather upholstery, active cruise control, blind spot monitoring, an electric sunroof and 20-inch alloys.
All Alfa Romeo Stelvio’s feature a three-year / 100 000 km warranty and a six-year / 100 000km Maintenance plan as standard.
