BP has released the findings of a new study on the world’s oil reserves.
According to this study, the world’s oil resources will dry up in 53,3 years based on the current extraction rate.
The oil resources currently stand at 1 687,9 million barrels, but there may still be untapped resources out there.
This seems a tad worrisome, but 50 years from now cars, or whatever means of personal transport we come up with next, will likely be powered by something else.
