The Etios Cross, first revealed at the Auto Expo in India at the beginning of February, is coming to South Africa and it’ll be here by mid 2014.
Mechanically, it’s exactly the same as the standard Etios, but there are a few visual add-ons to make it look more aggressive. These include a more aggressive grille, black side sills, roof rails and fog lamps.
While other engine derivatives are available elsewhere in the world, SA is likely to get the 1,5-litre four-cylinder from the standard car. It’s a great choice for our country, as it’s a powerful, yet economical little engine.
On the inside it’s also virtually identical, except for a few model specific touches to the dashboard and seats.
The Etios Cross will be launched with its own unique colour (see above) called Inferno Orange.
