Audi is adding a new entry-level model to its Q3 range in the UK.
It’s meant to be an alternative, but not a replacement to the current entry-level 2.0 TDI model and shares its exclusively front-wheel drive platform.
It offers peak power of 110kW and a maximum torque of 250Nm. It sends power to the front wheels through either a six-speed manual or seven-speed S tronic transmission.
In manual guise it accelerates to 100km/h in 9.2 seconds (8.9 for the S tronic) and on to a top speed of over 200km/h. Fuel consumption is claimed to be somewhere around the 5,0 l/100km mark, which isn’t bad for a SUV, albeit a small one. CO2 emissions are equally impressive, with Audi claiming a figure of 137g/km (145g/km for the S tronic).
