Audi recently built its six millionth car with Quattro all-wheel drive.
The German manufacturer introduced its now famous all-wheel drive system in 1980 and it has been fitted to around 170 different vehicles.
It’s still one of the manufacturers big selling points, as nearly 50% of all Audis sold are specified with Quattro.
“Dynamism and sportiness, the utmost technical precision and safety – that’s what Audi’s quattro technology stands for. More than 30 years ago, it was recognized as a pioneering accomplishment; today, it is synonymous with technical progress,” said Audi’s Board Member for Production Dr. Hubert Waltl.
The lucky model is a grey SQ5 built for an unnamed customer in the US.
