Audi has announced during its annual earnings news conference that the Audi Q4 is back on track (after facing a delay due to the emissions scandal) and will be produced two years earlier than previously expected.
Inspired by the TT Offroad Concept (pictured), according to the brand’s chief, Rupert Stadler, the SUV will be introduced in 2019.
The all-new Audi Q4 will most likely use the same underpinnings as the latest Q5, along with its powertrains, but is expected to have a more sloping roofline and a plusher interior. The Q4 will be pitted against cars like the BMW X4, Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, and Range Rover Evoque.
