We recently spotted an emerging trend in Russia and the Ukraine and it has to do with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200.
Apparently, it’s quite a big seller over there, apparently because it shows the neighbours how affluent you are and it can handle the poor road conditions.
But because it sells so well, a lot of customising shops are popping up all over the place.
Since there’s little wrong with the mechanicals, most of these shops focus on the exterior and interior of the car.
The latest shop to introduce a kit for the 200 is called AutoLife.
Its kit is meant to make the Land Cruiser look less mundane and a bit more aggressive, which is why it includes a fairly aggressive body kit, wider wheel arches and fancier alloy wheels.
On the inside it includes wood trim on a number of surfaces, as well as polished aluminium trim.
The most noticeable change is to be found in the second row. AutoLife removes the rear bench completely and replaces it with two individual seats from a BMW 7 Series.
