The singe cab bakkie you see here was unveiled at the recent Hannover Motor Show, but not by Renault or Dacia.
It was designed and built by a company called Romturingia. It’s the same company responsible for the previous-generation Duster single cab, of which only 500 were built for workhorse duty.
Still, we can’t help but be impressed by the car. We drove the all-new Duster recently and a single and double cab version of it would sell like hotcakes in South Africa.
It’s not clear whether this bakkie will make it into production, but the show model uses Renault’s 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine.
