Ever thought that the only thing missing from your luxury SUV is some tailor-made fishing accessories, meticulously built into your boot?
We didn’t think so, but, in the event that the proverbial fishing bug bites, why not invest in the Bentley Bentayga Fly Fishing. It is complete with all of the fly-fishing accessories you might ever need, expertly crafted and incorporated into this R4-million vehicle by in-house coachbuilding division, Mulliner.
The kit includes four fishing rods stored in rather special tubes, which are trimmed in Saddle leather and are located underneath the parcel shelf. There is also a master tackle station and a refreshment case which is positioned on top of a sliding tray, allowing easy access. Positioned beneath the drawer system is four specially machined aluminium reel cases. A pair of landing nets and “Mulliner fine-china” tableware are also included in this arrangement.
According to the carmaker, this setup can be removed entirely when extra storage space is required.
Theoretically speaking, the Bentayga seems to be the ultimate machine combining luxury and practicality, as it also boasts formidable off-road abilities. Coupled with this level of gadgetry, it should work a charm for the swanky fishermen amongst us.
Also, before you think Bentley has gone off the deep end, Her Majesty of England was first in line to order her very own 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged Bentayga during the later stages of last year for the sole purpose of hunting deer.
