BMW will be displaying the facelifted X1 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The facelifted model features a new front bumper, updated headlights and a larger kidney grille. At the rear it also has a new bumper, tail lights and larger exhaust tips. To further add to the appeal, BMW is including four new alloy wheel options, as well as side mirrors that project an X1 image onto the ground.
The interior changes are harder to spot. The infotainment screens are a bit larger and the gear lever has been given a slight makeover.
The X1 will soldier forth with its line-up of three- and four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, but the big news is an all-new plug in hybrid model.
The xDrive25e is equipped with a turbocharged engine that powers the front wheels, while a 70kW/165Nm electric motor powers the rear wheels.
The 9.7kWh battery pack allows for an electric-only range of 50km.
