BMW has announced that it will be introducing the X5 Security Plus at the upcoming Moscow Motor Show.
The X5 Security has a protection class rating of VR6, which means it comes equipped with safety glass, added protection in the seams and, obviously, some added armour.
It uses the same engine as the standard xDrive50i, which means it has 330kW and 650Nm on tap. Even with the added weight, the X5 Security Plus can accelerate to 100km/h in less than five seconds and on to a top speed of 250km/h.
That should be more than enough to outrun most evil villains.
