This Chevrolet S10 Trailboss 4×4 concept was unveiled at the 2017 Buenos Aires Auto Show recently.
Various bakkie concepts always pique our interest, even if we won’t be seeing one of these on our shores. In reality, the S10 Trailboss is a jazzed up version of the S10 bakkie already sold in Latin America, equipped with a range of original Chevrolet accessories to expand its off-road capability.
The S10 Trailboss concept comes with an eye-catching metallic yellow paint job offset with black contrast. The concept gains an LED lightbar at the front, black running boards on the sides and a step at the back to make access to the bed easier. It is also fitted with a tubular roll bar and a basket-type roof rack for extra storage.
Protective frames on the wheels, all-terrain mud tyres on 18-inch wheels and an air snorkel complete the off-road features on the exterior.
The interior is done with a dark grey palette and seats, dashboard, armrest, and steering wheel are leather-trimmed with orange stitching and Trailboss Concept emblems.
Power comes from a LTZ 2.8 turbodiesel (an engine offered in the Isuzu KB in some markets).
