Citroën will be showcasing its latest concept cars at the International Automobile Festival in Paris this week.
The only one we’re interested in, apart from the production ready C4 Cactus you can read about here, is the Wild Rubis concept.
This beautiful machine is a preview of what we can expect of the upcoming SUV in Citroën’s popular DS line-up. This is the French company’s first attempt at building an SUV within the parameters set by the DS design philosophy.
As such, it has to be beautiful, unique and dynamically capable.
The Wild Rubis seems to have all these boxes ticked. It’s quite striking and it’ll probably come as standard with a 1,6-litre turbocharged petrol powertrain. Citroën recently stated that it might even be available as a hybrid with 225kW on tap.
