According to Reuters, Citroen intends to return to its roots, becoming a more entry-level brand.
The first step in this strategy is apparently well underway in the form of the C4 Cactus. The Cactus, which retails at 19 000 EUR, and is priced well below its traditional rivals.
Based on Citroen chief executive Carlos Tavares comments, it seems as if PSA will perhaps be broken into three tiers, with Citroen becoming largely entry-level, Peugeot being more upscale, and DS becoming its own standalone upmarket brand.
