This presents the opportunity to experience their pristine fynbos mountains and breathtaking views from remote and beautiful places.
Eight 4×4 routes are opened only on these two days for 4×4 enthusiasts to come and test their vehicle’s and their own capabilities. On Saturday morning registration opens at 8am for 4×4 and 2×4 vehicles. Vehicles depart on different routes at 9am from the central Sports grounds of the local Citrusdal High.
Routes vary in difficulty levels en technicality, from a joyride to Lekkerl? to an epic journey to Mangaan Myn.
All routes are led by capable locals who know the area, natural vegetation and their 4×4’s. More information and entry forms to be found on www.citrusdal2x4x4.co.za.
After a fun filled day in the veld, vehicles return to the marquee tent in Citrusdal for Wine tasting, country cuisine and fine music. Wine cellars from the area will treat you to their best quality wines.
