Dodge US has announced that it will introduce the all-new Journey Crossroad at the Chicago Auto Show.
Don’t, however, be fooled by the “cross” part of its moniker. An all-wheel drive system is an optional extra and most of the modifications as purely cosmetic.
The Crossroad features modified bumpers, revised side skirts, tinted head and taillights, chrome inserts, a blacked-out grille and 19-inch Hyper Black alloy wheels.
Two engines will be made available in the Crossroad, both already known to the South African public. A 2,4-litre four-cylinder with 129kW/225Nm on tap and a 3,6-litre Pentastar V6 producing a massive 211kW and 352Nm of torque.
It’s not clear whether South Africa will receive the Crossroad, but we see no reason not to include it in the local line-up
