Land Rover will be offering driving experiences in 2017 and 2018 that will allow drivers to pilot the all-new Land Rover Discovery on one of two excursions, one in Namibia and one in Utah in the USA.
The Namibian excursion will set on an eight day journey, departing from an African Lodge, after a briefing from a Land Rover Experience instructor. Trekking across some of the continent’s most rugged landscape, the group of Discoverys will travel through the Etosha National Park and the Namib Desert, taking in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife sightings along the way.
The Namibia Adventure leaves on 1 May 2018, and costs $6 943 (about R92 000) per person, based on double occupancy. The fee covers all of the planned activities on the trip, including meals, accommodations, and airport transportation (though not airfare).
The five-day Utah excursion takes place near the city of Moab in the beautiful, otherworldly landscape of Arches National Park. Explorers will get to experience the Seven Mile Rim, Hell’s Revenge Trails, and Poison Spider Mesa trail in an action-packed, off-road adventure.
The Utah adventure begins on 21 October 2017, and costs $5 250 (about R70 000) per person, based on double occupancy. The fee covers all of the planned activities on the trip, meals, accommodations, and airport transportation.
