The first images of the upgraded Toyota Land Cruiser 200 have been revealed.
The design changes are most noticeable up front, where the Land Cruiser now features a new front grille and headlamps.
The side profile is more or less the same, while the rear styling now incorporates a chrome bar that connects the LED taillights.
Interior wise Toyota has upgraded the look and feel to create an even more upmarket ambience. The colour display for the infotainment system has also grown by an inch and you get wireless charging on high-end models.
It’s available with a twin-turbo 4,5-litre diesel, or a 4,6-litre petrol V8. The diesel delivers 200kW and 650Nm of torque, while the petrol pushes out 227kW and 439Nm.
Toyota has also taken this opportunity to upgrade the 200’s standard safety specification, which now includes pre-collision braking, lane departure alert, radar guided cruise control and blind spot monitoring.
It’s not yet clear when the new Land Cruiser will arrive in SA, but for now you can check out the video below.
