We first saw the Nissan Terra at the beginning of the year, but we didn’t know all that much about it.
It has now gone on sale in South East Asia, which confirms that it will be built in right-hand drive and with seven seats.
The Terra is build in Thailand, but unlike its Navara sibling, it doesn’t use the twin-turbo 2.3-litre turbocharged diesel.
Instead, it comes as standard with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel developing 140kW and 450Nm.
Nissan has not confirmed whether the Terra will be launched locally, but it looks like it could offer the Fortuner/Everest/Pajero Sport and mu-X some serious competition.
