Bavarian company Delta 4×4 has turned this all-new Ford Ranger into what they call “The Beast”. The ground clearance has been increased enormously by raising the Ranger’s ride height by 150 mm, thanks to a 100 mm lift kit and 50 mm spring kit. The wheel arches have also been widened. These modifications allow for greater wheel articulation and therefore better off-road capability.
If the ride isn’t high enough Delta4x4 offer to supply new 20-inch alloys fitted with 315/55 R 20 Yokohama tyres to add another 20 mm of ground clearance. The Beast has also been fitted with new yellow-tinted LED light-bars that provide better visibility in fog, fender flares and a EU compliant front bar.
The complete suspension lift, including assembly, painting and technical inspection costs starts at €10 000 (around R156 000).
