Women’s Day in South Africa fall on 9 August, but Tiger Wheel & Tyre is declaring August ‘Women’s Month’ and will celebrate women in style on Saturday, 20 August with their free ‘Road Safety’ workshop being held at 20 stores nationwide.
One of the items on the workshop’s agenda will be teaching you how to change a tyre. We can guarantee that it won’t be anything as difficult (or insane) as shown in the video below.
To do justice to the workshop, the country’s favourite wheel and tyre company has teamed up with MasterDrive, Discovery, GeneralTire and Isuzu off-road academy, Yokohama, Dermalogica and Wiesenhof to treat their fairer customers to an afternoon of, learning, eats, treats, and the chance to win a grand prize.
‘Every modern and empowered woman needs to know how to read the writing on the sidewall of her tyres, choose the right tyre tread for her vehicle, change a wheel when she has a flat tyre and drive safely in today’s fast pace lifestyle. Women who attend this workshop at any one of our selected stores will leave knowing all this and more,’ said Joe du Plooy, Group Marketing Executive.
Space is limited to 30 ladies per store, which will take place from 14:30 to 17:00 on 20 August 2016, so women are encouraged to visit the information page on the website www.twt.to and RSVP before 15 August 2016 to reserve their place.
‘What is the correct tyre pressure for my vehicle? How much remaining tread is enough? When should wheels be balanced and aligned? All these questions, and more, will be answered at the Road Safety Workshop,’ added du Plooy.
The Road Safety Workshop will include an educational presentation from MasterDrive, ladies will also receive a goodie bag including a Yokohama bag, a gift voucher from Dermalogica plus three free sample products, a gift from Discovery, a gift voucher from Tiger Wheel & Tyre as well as refreshments and snacks from Wiesenhof. 14 lucky ladies will also stand a chance to win a one-day, 4×4 off-road introduction course with GeneralTire and Isuzu off-road academy in Gauteng on 8September (terms and conditions apply). Now that’s empowerment!
Interested parties should visit the website www.twt.to to reserve their place for 20 August and don’t forget to visit the Tiger Wheel & Tyre Facebook page to stand a chance of winning a hamper with the #HerPowerWithTWT competition.
