Here’s Our Best Look Yet at the 2016 Toyota Hilux

by Leisure Wheels

29 April 2015

More pictures of the upcoming 2016 Toyota Hilux have surfaced online. Although these images aren’t fantastic, they give us our best look yet at the all-new Hilux, as well as a glimpse at the interior.

The look of the 2016 Toyota Hilux isn’t radical by any means, but the updated front end is sure to be controversial. The grille and lights differ markedly from that of the current model, creating a sharper and more contoured nose.

The interior has received a large info screen, but apart from that, the cabin seems very similar to that of the existing Hilux. Although the size of the screen is impressive, it doesn’t appear to have been integrated all that well with the dash.

And what is hiding under the bonnet? We’ll have to wait for confirmation, but rumors suggest that engine line-up will consist of a 2,4-litre diesel mill in two states of tune that develops either 111 kW or 123 kW, and a 2,8-litre oil burner that offers 130 kW.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, an official reveal will take place very, very soon. We’ll let you know as soon as official details have been revealed…
