Honda has just released a design sketch of a new sub-compact SUV coined the WR-V.
The acronym for WR-V stands for ‘Winsome Runabout Vehicle’ ( a bit of an odd moniker) and the model has been developed for the South American market, particularly Brazil. Honda is aiming the car at those who enjoy active lifestyles and like the practicalities offered by small SUVs.
The model will debut at next month’s Sao Paolo International Motor Show 2016 and when it goes on sale (no date has been announced yet), it will slot below the HR-V in the carmaker’s South American line-up.
From a design standpoint, it looks like it is based on the HR-V but with a bold front fascia and includes aggressive lines, sharp headlights and a relatively small grille.
