Hyundai’s Creta STC (Sport Truck Concept) has been unveiled at the São Paulo Motor Show. The bakkie concept is based on the facelifted Hyundai Creta (ix25) SUV, which is set to reach South Africa early in 2017.
At 4.65 meters long, the Creta STC is almost a metre longer than the Creta SUV, it is also slightly wider and sits on a set of 21-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli 295/40 R21 Scorpion Zero tyres.
Hyundai says that “the idea was to create a unibody pickup aimed at the younger generation, large urban centers, and emerging markets with a focus on sport utility.”
There’s no clue as to whether this concept will ever make production but if it does, there is always room for another bakkie in South Africa.
