It is being reported that Infiniti is planning on building its own entry-level crossover.
There were rumours circulating a little while ago that the company was planning on creating its own slightly revised version of the Nissan Juke, but Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer has dismissed those stories.
However, he told Automotive News that a QX30 that could slot in below the current QX50 made a lot of sense, and added that the Nissan Juke would offer the perfect platform to base a small Infiniti crossover on.
He concluded by saying that a small crossover could be launched in China first, and then released in other markets, so it seems as if there is some serious discussion within the company regarding a QX30.
