Is this what the all-new Volvo XC90 will look like when it is finally unveiled?
As we reported a little while ago, Volvo’s Concept XC Coupé was unveiled at the Detroit auto show. Hinting at the design direction of the XC90, the vehicle was quite a hit at the show. It even managed to win the title “Best Concept Car” at the 2014 EyesON Design Awards that were held during the show.
Well, with this in mind, IndianAutosBlog has commissioned a rendering of the Concept XC Coupé in the shape it would take on if it were to enter into production as the next XC90.
As you can see, it still looks an awful lot like the original concept vehicle, but the overall design has been tweaked to make it more production-ready. The most notable change is the addition of two rear doors, something that any production XC90 would undoubtedly sport.
So, is this what the next XC90 will look like? We’ll have to wait and see, but we won’t be surprised if it ends up looking quite similar to this rendering. This is one good looking SUV.
