Isuzu UK keeps on churning out limited edition models of the D-Max, increasing jealousy levels here in South Africa.
This time the limited-edition model is called the V-Cross and it’s based on the standard Utah specification. That means all the usual kit we get in the SA-spec LX, such as leather, reverse camera, satellite navigation and parking sensors.
The V-Cross adds a new front skirt and 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside you get wireless phone charging and a new front-facing camera that’s useful both off-road and while parking.
Oddly, the V-Cross uses a 1.9-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel, which is the base engine in the UK.
