In an interview with Autocar magazine, a representative of Jaguar revealed that the C-X17 would not be labeled as an SUV.
This is because Jaguar is part of the Jaguar/Land Rover group and they leave the business of building SUVs to the part of the business that has experience in building such things.
The Jag will be a road biased crossover, or sports crossover if you prefer.
Jag is currently working on a catchy name for its crossover, but other than that we don’t know much about it.
We do know that it’s scheduled for introduction in 2016, which means it’ll likely be revealed in the second half of 2015 for the first time.
