Jeep Gladiator to compete in King of Hammers [w/video]
The all-new Gladiator hasn’t been launched yet, but Jeep is going above and beyond to prove its tough as nails.
In order to prove that it’s going to be a robust vehicle, Jeep has entered it in the famous King of Hammers event taking place this week.
The Gladiator will be taking part in the Spidertrax 4600 Stock Class. This class requires a stock frame, body and factory engine. For this race, we reckon Jeep will stick with the proven 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol.
And while most of the car is stock, Jeep included a few upgrades to keep the car competitive. These include stronger axles, a custom Fox suspension, winch and a roll cage.
We’ll keep you posted on how the Jeep fares against the toughest off-road race in the USA.
