We’ve known for a while that Jeep is working on a double cab bakkie based on the Wrangler and now a test mule has been photographed out and about.
The photos were posted by CarScoops earlier this week and it shows nothing except the general outline of a Wrangler with a load bin.
Nothing is confirmed at this stage, but we do know it’s called the Scrambler.
As it’s based on the Wrangler, it will likely use the same engines, which includes a 3.6-litre V6, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel.
It will likely make its debut at the LA Motor Show in November.
