Jeep’s Grand Cherokee Trackhawk recently received the go-ahead for production, which means we’re closely monitor the internet for news about this ridiculously fast SUV.
Rumour has it, the Trackhawk will be equipped with a supercharged 6,2-litre Hemi V8 engine that produces 527kW. This same engine produces 880Nm of torque in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, but that might be slightly too much for the Jeep’s all-wheel drive system to handle.
The most impressive performance whisper we’ve heard so far is the 0-100km/h sprint time, which is said to be around three seconds. The top-speed is said to be in excess of 320km/h.
