JMC copies VW Amarok

by Leisure Wheels

26 January 2015

JMC Motors has introduced a new model that looks suspiciously like the Volkswagen Amarok.

It’s called the T7 and JMC will start production on it next month. It’ll be powered by an old Isuzu turbodiesel that produces 75kW and a 2,2-litre four-cylinder with 82kW on tap.

This comes a few months after a Chinese company called Landwind, launched an Evoque lookalike called the X7.

We doubt these cars will ever be sold outside China, as the manufacturers they drew inspiration from will likely sue as soon as the first wheel touches the ground.
