Kahn Design builds another Long Nose V8 Defender

Kahn Design is famous for doing some fairly interesting things to Defenders and it’s at it again.

This new model was made by its Chelsea Truck Company division and it’s called the 105 Long Nose. It’s basically the two-door version of the Long Nose four-door it made a few years ago.

Now, you might wonder why somebody might add 400mm to the chassis, but there’s a very good reason for it.

It’s to make some space for the GM-sourced 6.2-litre V8 engine that produces just over 300kW. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox and it features a sports exhaust setup so you can make the most of those eight cylinders.

It retails for the equivalent of R2,7 million in the UK, which is around the same price as a new Lamborghini Urus.
