Kahn Design Unveils Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up

by Leisure Wheels

24 April 2015

Kahn Design has unveiled its striking new Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up.

Taking place at The Great British Land Rover Show at Donnington Park on Sunday the 26th of April, stand A8, the Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up adds a little over 15 inches to the standard 90-inch wheelbase.

Modifications made to the two-door Defender 90 Pick Up on which it is based, include lengthening the bonnet by 400 mm and increasing the width by 150 mm.

Front and rear wide wings with vents and bolt apertures, body colour, extended wheel arches, headlamps, front bumper replacement with bumper lights, bonnet and side vents with mesh stainless steel, side steps, X-Lander front grille and 8″ x 18″ Defend 1945 Retro Wheels in Matt Black with a captivating gold stripe demand attention.

Power comes from a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Drive is to all four wheels via a button-operated six-speed automatic transmission. Brake and suspension upgrades complete the engineering overhaul.

Inside, the centre glove box, passenger dashboard, grab handles, door panel inserts, instrument binnacle, roof headlining and sun visors are all upholstered to complement the front two GTB Sports Seats.

Occupants also benefit from a Churchill time clock & rev counter fascia, vented machined aluminium foot pedals and a Kahn billet steering wheel.

Clients also have the option to design their own Pick Up model with the featured upgrades in a variety of colours, finishes, trims, and more.

Additional members of the coach built division include a Flying Huntsman105 Longnose and 110 WB 6×6 concepts, both of which were revealed to the public at Geneva to much acclaim.
