While everyone had their eyes fixed on the Geneva International Motor Show, the lesser known Buenos Aires Motor Show was the platform for Renault to introduce the latest generation Koleos SUV to the world.
The Koleos has been designed to bring the brand’s premium SUV in line with the new family look that current- and future models are sure to inherit. The styling changes include a new bumper and chrome grille with the rather massive Renault badge as seen on the new Clio at the centre. The indicators have received the LED treatment too, while other exterior changes include the addition of two-tone alloy wheels and a new signature Ebony Brown exterior colour.
The interior also received a bit of a makeover, with the addition of the “R-Link” multimedia system with the familiar seven-inch touchscreen display. It features a navigation system with an app store and the usual USB, AUX and Bluetooth functionality. The system can be operated via the touchscreen display, the joystick next to the gear lever or by voice.
Renault are yet to release details regarding the powertrains but are have stated that there will be the option of two and four-wheel drive variants with the 4×4 receiving driving modes that select either auto-all-wheel drive, lock it in four-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.
