Land Rover UK has announced two new specification levels for the Freelander – HSE and XS.
The HSE specification includes body colour sills, door handles and side mirrors. This specification also includes 19-inch Sparkle Silver alloy wheels and a metal HSE badge on the rear.
On the inside it features Windsor leather seats, which are electrically adjustable in every conceivable way, as well as a few black lacquer finished scattered around the cabin.
The XS features a Dark Atlas grille and side vents, which go rather nicely with the 17-inch anthracite alloy wheels.
The interior upgrades include partial leather seats with electric adjustment and front and rear armrests.
The XS model can also be specified with an upgrade pack, which adds a Meridian audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights and climate control.
Both models are available with the optional Dynamic Exterior Pack, which gives the Freelander a more sporty appearance, thanks to a set of exhaust pipe finishers, a matt black grille and 19-inch alloy wheels.
We currently don’t know if these specification levels will be made available in SA, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we receive confirmation.
