Land Rover’s new Discovery Sport is one of the most highly anticipated vehicles of 2015, but it seems as if it’s going to be a lot more “Discovery” than it will be “Sport”.
One of Land Rover’s directors has revealed that it doesn’t have any plans for a Discovery Sport SVR. SVR, for those of you who don’t know yet, is Land Rover’s new performance branch.
The standard engines aren’t exactly down on power, but rumours on the Internet suggest that the turbocharged four-cylinder petrol could be tuned to produce around 220kW.
We reckon that should be more than enough for most people…
