The concept Jeep CJ66, showcased at the SEMA show in Las Vegas is like a life-size Lego set. It uses the frame from a Wrangler TJ, the body from a 1966 Wrangler CJ and some bits and bobs from a JK.
It also has some Mopar accessories under the covers that ooze sex appeal.
This includes an engine cover and cold-air intake. A set of Mopar Dana 44 Crate axles and the addition of a cat-back exhaust bump aiding its rock-crawling endeavors.
Power is delivered to the trail using a rather ordinary six-speed manual gearbox.
But, don’t think this is your average run-of-the-mill mash-up job.
No sir, the exterior harks back to the Jeeps of old, while the inside has something special up its sleeve. The front seats are donated by a Dodge Viper, officially making this the most desirable Jeep imaginable.
