MTM is set to unveil its Amarok V8 Desert Edition at the Geneva Motor Show.
The upgrades to the exterior are fairly obvious and we’re more interested in the “V8” part of its nomenclature.
The V8 in question is VW group’s 4,2-litre TDI V8 and it produces more than 300kW and 930Nm of torque. It accelerates to 100km/h in six seconds and on to a top speed just shy of 250km/h.
Just in case you were wondering, MTM is thinking of charging around R40 million to own one of these.
Not the best value for money bakkie out there, then.
