Toyota in the UK is celebrating 50 years of Hilux by introducing a new model called the Hilux Invincible 50.
The bad news is that only 50 will be built and they’ll only be made available to UK customers. Each car will be numbered.
This particular Hilux was built in collaboration with Arctic Trucks, which means it has a raised performance suspension created by Arctic Trucks and Bilstein. It also comes with unique alloys and BF Goodrich rubber.
To make space for the upgrades, the Invincible has a wider body. To round off the look, you get four LED spotlights mounted behind the cab.
The Invincible is not equipped with Toyota’s 2.8-litre diesel, but rather the smaller 2.4-litre mated to an automatic gearbox.
In the UK, it retails for the equivalent of R497 000.
