It is being reported that the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is getting a new twin-turbo V6 petrol mill.
The model will apparently be called the GL400, and will sport a three-litre V6 engine with two turbos – an existing Mercedes-Benz engine that offers 245 kW of power and 480 Nm of torque. Top speed will be pegged at around 245 km/h, and will sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 6,7 seconds.
There is no word yet on whether the GL400 will be coming to SA, but since the ML400 is now available in South Africa, it’s probably safe to assume that we will see it here at some point.
