Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the 40th birthday of the G-Class by introducing a special edition model, called the “Stronger Than Time.”
It’s available in a few flavours, depending on how much money you have to spend.
The G500 features an AMG Line style package, a sports exhaust and fancy 20-inch alloy wheels. In addition to that, Mercedes also includes the Stainless Steel Package, which consists of a nice spare wheel cover, running boards and door sill plates.
On the inside it has Nappa leather with golden stitching, model-specific wood trim and Stronger Than Time badging on the steering wheel.
You can also get it with a diesel, or AMG V8 engine. In this guise, the 4.0-litre biturbo V8 produces 430kW and 850Nm of torque, while the G400 diesel produces 243kW and 700Nm of torque.
