The car you see here is not a Range Rover Evoque. It may look like one, but underneath it’s a thoroughbred off-road racer made by Milner – a racing outfit with decades of experience in the field of racing off the beaten track.
The body is merely a composite shell and though the styling is replicated, the size isn’t. The Milner LRM-1, as it’s called, is 4/5 the size of an actual Evoque.
Milner’s LRM-1 has a full space frame chassis, double wishbone fully independent suspension and a 5,0-litre supercharged engine.
This monster of an engine delivers 410 kW and 680 Nm of torque.
All this power is fed to the wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox with Milner differentials and transfer box.
The LRM-1 is available fully assembled, or as a rolling project with various engine and transmission options.
Unfortunately, Milner is based in the UK, so it’s unlikely any of us will ever get to experience the fiercest 4×4 by far.
