The Outlander was rated as the number one most affordable SUV with three rows of seat as one of the “10 Most Affordable 3-Row Vehicles” of 2017, according to the Kelley Blue Book online version www.KBB.com.
The current 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander scored top honours in the survey for the fourth year in a row. The previous three years the Outlander was also recognised in this category.
The California-based vehicle valuation and automotive research company’s influential list focusses on each year’s budget-friendly 7- and 8-seater passenger vehicles available for less than a certain value in the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price as of March 2017.
In South Africa, this model retails for R549 900.
The Outlander was rated as the number one most affordable SUV with three rows of seats based on its off-road credentials, its 2.4-litre MIVEC powerplant, well-equipped cabin, as well as a comprehensive warranty – 3-year/100 000km manufacturer’s warranty, 5-year/90 000km service plan and roadside assistance.
“We are proud to have Outlander recognised for its value proposition by one of the most reputable organisations in the industry,” says Nic Campbell, General Manager for Mitsubishi SA.
