The first details of the all-new Mercedes G-Class are starting to siphon through on the internet.
According Automobile Magazine, the 2016 G-Class will ride on an aluminium platform and will be wider than its predecessor. The result is a weight saving of 370kg, or roughly three SA sized passengers.
The new G-Class will likely be a luxury vehicle, so expect it to feature some of the impressive gadgets on the new S-Class.
Engines will likely be carried over, while a mad AMG derivative with over 400kW on tap is almost a given.
The all-new G-Class is expected to make its debut sometime in 2016.
