Nissan recently announced the opening of a second production plant in Thailand.
This plant will be used to build the all-new Nissan Navara, which made its international debut not that long ago.
Nissan invested around R1 billion in this new facility and in the process created 2000 new jobs.
Around 150 000 vehicles will be made there per year, which pushes Nissan’s Thai production up to a massive 370 000 units per year.
The new Navara will be exported to 45 countries worldwide, including SA.
