A replacement for the Audi Q7 was recently spied undergoing tests in Spain.
As you can see on the photograph, courtesy of World Car Fans, the styling has been beefed up quite a bit. It still sits very low to the ground, so chances are it won’t be able to tackle anything more treacherous than your average mall parking lot curb.
Rumour has it Audi put the new car on a very strict diet, the result of which is a loss of more than 360kg, which means it’ll perform better and sip less fuel than the current Q7.
The existing range of engines will probably be carried over, but reports indicate the inclusion of an entry-level model with a small capacity turbodiesel engine.
The new Q7 will make its debut at an unspecified international motor show later this year and will probably go on sale late in 2014, or early in 2015.
