Volkswagen unveiled a (very) slightly updated version of its popular Polo a couple of weeks ago. And now the company has announced that it will be taking a crossover version of this latest Polo to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Like its predecessor, the latest crossover version of the Polo (CrossPolo) looks very similar to the standard version, and has hardly been upgraded to tackle a proper off-road scenario.
Apart from a few visual tweaks, such as new rims, black cladding along its sides, smoked rear light clusters and two new colour options, the CrossPolo is identical to the standard Polo.
That said, one can be certain that the CrossPolo will do well, since small crossovers are currently very popular. The CrossPolo isn’t really a crossover utility vehicle in the true sense of the term, but its new colours and accents, and slightly more rugged looks will help it stand out from the crowd.
